This platform helps bank leaders discover technology companies that have a proven track record of working with financial institutions. Each company featured in the platform has been selected by Bank Director’s editorial staff and carefully vetted. Companies cannot pay to be featured in the platform.

For each technology solution in the platform, Bank Director has researched and written an editorial profile that describes the product and lays out the benefits that banks can gain from deploying it. Profiles delve into the mechanics of what a partnership between the bank and technology firm would look like—providing information on the technical aspects of implementation, pricing and reviews by peer bankers.

There are two main criteria that technology companies must meet to be featured: 1) the company must have bank clients that they can name publicly and 2) the company or the solution must represent an emerging technology.

The platform is a closed, peer-based environment that is only open to bankers. Technology companies and other vendors cannot access the platform.

Using the Platform

There are three ways to discover technology solutions:

Categories

Each solution has been assigned to a broad category such as “Data + Analytics” or “Lending.” Categories can be accessed from the homepage of the platform, or on the left hand side of returned search result pages.

Solutions

Users can further specify what types of solutions they’re seeking by using the drop down menu located in the search bar. The drop down menu reveals goals that technology could help the bank meet, such as “Grow Deposits & Sales” or “Grow Commercial Lending.”

Search

Users may search the entire database for keywords related to the solution they’re seeking. To search a partial phrase or word, put an asterisk (*) at the end of your search criteria. The default display for all search results is based on a profile’s relevance to your inquiry.

Core Processor Capability

We have also included information core processor capabilities for each solution. Many solutions do not require integration. For those that do, we’ve tracked which of the four major core providers they have successfully integrated with already—Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry and CSI. If a solution has integrated with a core that doesn’t belong to that group—for example, COCC— you can do a search on that specific provider to display relevant profiles.
